Process knowledge – baking varnish

Baking varnish is a spray painting method (process) in badge manufacturing. The method is: drip several layers of acrylic paint on the base that has been polished to a certain degree of roughness. And it is fixed by high-temperature baking. This process currently has high requirements for paint and good color rendering. The materials used to make baking varnish badges are generally copper, iron, zinc alloy, etc. Among them, zinc alloy, iron, and bronze are the most used. Their surfaces have obvious concave and convex feeling and good texture, which is suitable for the production of some mid-to-high-end badges. Production process: design and drawing – black (convex) and white (concave) film – plate exposure – plate biting – die engraving – die cutting – stamping – polishing – electroplating – welding accessories – coloring (baking varnish) – polypropylene – drying – quality inspection – packaging – shipment.

The base material of baking varnish badges is usually made of iron, zinc alloy and other materials, and the cost of baking varnish coloring is low, which is suitable for large-scale mid-to-low-end product orders.
